Twins, tropical hats, and a watermelon eating contest—PCS celebrated its spirit week in the new building and it was a big success.

On Monday, many people dressed as media characters but 10th grade won with 42 points. At lunch there was a pumpkin pie-eating contest, won by the eighth graders.

Tuesday was a day of doubles and a three-legged race—12th grade won. At lunch, there were two groups of racers and they ran/hopped their way across the deck. After Monday and Tuesday, 12th grade led with 80 points.

On “What are Those” Wednesday, kids showed up in their silliest shoe combinations.

At lunch people came to the back of the school to show off their crazy shoes by strutting and posing for a vine while people shouted “What are those!” at their favorite shoes. The winner was 12th grade again with the leading score of 126 points.

On Thursday, we went to the tropics with tropical fruit hats and fantastic tropical attire! With a slightly messy watermelon eating contest, the tropical day was won by the 7th graders with an additional 35 points.

Friday was a day of lookalikes as kids dressed up like their favorite teachers for Faculty Friday. Students threw it down in a teacher impersonation contest. The competition ended with 3 people tied for first.

Twelfth grade took first place with a grand total of 206 points. 7th grade won second place with 200 points, while 10th grade won third place, 8th grade fourth, 11th grade fifth and 10th grade sixth.
