Here are some of the teams and storylines that have stood out to us so far this season.

The Kansas City Chiefs sit at the top of the power rankings because of their strong start to the season. They show no signs of slowing down and with Alex Smith having a career year, we predict the Chiefs have a shot at winning it all.

After shelling out a boatload of money to bolster the team’s defense, the Jacksonville Jaguars is finally showing out this year. With standout performances against the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Jaguars are 3-2, vastly outperforming expectations.

Heading into Week 5, the Texans looked like they were going to be contenders after rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson’s explosive start to the season.  But with the loss of defensive and team leader JJ Watt during their game against the Chiefs in Week 5, things may not be looking as good as they seem for the Houston Texans.

The New York Giants have hit rock bottom after a loss to the Chargers in which their three top receivers, Odell Beckham Jr, Brandon Marshall, and Sterling Shepard all got injured.

In other news, seven NFL owners have announced that they will be benching those who kneel during the national anthem. In response, rapper and fashion mogul Diddy has offered to buy the NFL or make a league of his own, a league in which players can express their political and social opinions without the fear of being sidelined.
