Issue 10 of the Finch is out right now! The Finch is a student run literary magazine that focuses on showcasing the writing and art of PCS students. This issue featured music submissions, poems, short stories, and educational essays.

The Editor-in-Chief, Sophia Wright, the teacher advisor, Ms. Decaporale, and the many students that worked on producing this did an absolutely excellent job! Sophia stated that much of the content of the new issue is engaging with the CZU wildfires that devastated the Santa Cruz community in the fall and added extraordinary new stress to life in the context of a global pandemic and distance-learning. “In light of the displacement and losses experienced by much of our community, we are grateful to all the authors who shared their stories with us. We wish for a safe and quick recovery to all those affected by the fires,” Sophia said in her letter from the editor.
