Beatmakers, started in 2022, is a club of people dedicated to the creation of songs that are pleasing to the ear canals. It’s run by leader JP Lee, as well as fellow sophomores Oly Bourcier and Vikram Sathish. The three have created numerous beats using the program FL Studio, and hope to continue to put music out there in the coming year. “[We want to] give back to the community by playing at dances,” JP says. “I had this club last year but there was like no one in it which is kinda sad but…” he hopes that this year, things will be different. Beatmakers club has 10 computers with the software downloaded, and club leaders are ready to teach! So come up to room 221 on Thursdays at lunch to make some beats.
