You’ve probably heard of or most definitely seen the sketching of marine animals on the walls around the school. You can find them right around the corner of Mr. Walter’s biology classroom. For his seminar ‘Green PCS,’ he and some students helped clean, weed, and plant a variety of new plants in the little garden area near the deck. More recently, however, they have started drawing some ocean related and ocean animals on the walls, including a whale, several blue and pink jellyfish, and a squid and such. The purpose of the murals was to promote Green PCS and some of the artists for instance have said that their drawings were also drawn to encourage being more ‘green’ and to raise awareness to the environment.
