If you are a new seventh grader, you may find yourself worried about well, everything. You might ask yourself, how am I going to have time for anything fun with two hours of homework per day? We asked the most experienced PCS students of the school: 11th and 12th graders!
Many have shared that 7th-grade work and homework, although important, is not that bad, and you shouldn’t be scared of all the assignments. In your first year especially, remember that your teachers are here to help, and you just need to reach out. As a 7th grader, it is your first year of PCS junior high, and you should spend some time exploring new things, and yourself. Don’t worry about popularity, and definitely don’t compete to have the most popular friends. Try to find a tight group of people whom you can depend on. Even so, be sure you don’t forget about assignments and homework. You definitely need balance: a little time with friends and a little homework. Because although you don’t want to be an anti-social homework robot, school is still important.
In conclusion, 7th graders don’t need to be so worried about grades, but should still take good care to maintain good study habits. Ultimately, relax, 7th graders: PCS is here to support you! Have fun!
